Nurse Ana visited us and taught us all about germs and the importance of hand washing. She even brought along her germ machine. We had a blast.

We have been working very hard in Second Grade. On Friday, we celebrated in the Makerspace. We built with Legos, invented, collaborated, and so much more.

We decorated covers for our journals. 

The rainy day didn't get us down at indoor recess. 

A Little Play, a Little Work, and a Whole Lot of Fun

We earned an extra recess with our first Dojo Goal party! Woohoo! 

Mrs. Donahoe needed our help in the school garden. We learned how to identify the weeds versus the plants. Students learned how to harvest tomatoes and one little pumpkin. We had a chance to see the end of the life cycle for many plants and how they make seeds.
