Valentines for Vets

Each year at Berlin Memorial students create valentines for veterans. This is a fun community service project for our kids at school as well as a great way to practice letter writing. Here is a small glimpse of some of the Valentines being sent to four different veterans groups in Massachusetts.

Math Craft!

The kids created "Math Elephants" to review how to use addition to check their subtraction work. 

Great Day for Outdoor Recess

Fun Friday!

In second grade, we've decided that every Friday for the rest of the year will be "Fun Friday". There will something fun to participate in that day. Last week, we did hat day. Tomorrow, the class can do dress in blue, red or white for the Patriots as well as bringing a small stuffed animal to school.
