Fantastic Feedback

During snack time, children have the opportunity to share their writing with the class. After a student shares, we offer fantastic feedback: two specific things we like and one thing we wish. The writer has a chance to use the feedback to revise his or her writing.

Working on Our Snow Globe Project

Stay tuned for our final project!

Enrichment Time with Mrs. Rossow

Mrs. Rossow brought us a fantastic measurement lesson for enrichment. She explained how we use standardized units of measure such as inches so that our measurements are accurate and can be compared with others. For our lesson, the kids learned how to measure with paperclips that were all the same size yet not one of our typical standard units of measure. They had fun estimating then
measuring all around the room.

Publishing Fun!

We have been very busy working on revising and editing our favorite writing piece from our first Reading Wonders Unit. The kids were proud to share their stories and sign the author's chair.
